The club paddles throughout the year, placid water: Exeter canal
basin & canal, Bridgwater canal, local estuaries like the Teign, Tamar &
Exe as well as the weirs in Exeter, White water paddling on the: Dart,
Exe & Barl, surfing on the south & north coast in Devon & Cornwall & sea

In the winter we also run pool sessions for all levels, rolling
clinics, BCU Diamond slalom competition & introduction courses at Exeter
University's St Lukes Swimming Pool, just a short walk away.
The club offers pupils & parents the opportunity to take BCU Paddle
Power, Star Tests, Youth Cadet Leader Award & Coaching Awards, we have
close links with: Exeter Canoe Club, Haven Banks Outdoor Pursuits
Centre, Bicton College, Canoe Control & a number of local free lance
instructors to facilitate some of these courses.
Parents/Guardians older brothers/sisters &
friends of the school.
We would like to encourage adults to join our club: proficient paddlers,
novice paddlers & shore support.
Adults give us:
- Greater safety cover.
- Coaching support.
- Paddling with the family is great fun, why restrict it to only school club
trips.
- The potential for trips vastly increases, when we can accomplish shuttle
runs with cars/mini-buses.
In return we will give you:
- A lot of fun
- The opportunity to explore some of the beautiful water around the SW
- The opportunity to paddle in our pool sessions throughout the winter
- The opportunity to progress up the ladder with your canoeing
qualifications, both personal & coaching.
