Canoe Club Summer Program

 

We have had a great Winter program
  • Paddling on the Dart; Lower & loop sections, Barl & Exe
  • Surfing on the North & South coast of Devon & Cornwall.
  • Pupils attended the BCU National  surf camp in North Devon.
  • Sessions were run at Bicton college; beginners, rolling sessions & L1K assessment.
  • Sessions were run at Exeter Uni.; intro to kayaking.

So now to the Summer Program:
Tue. Mornings Intermediate paddles on a variety of local waters.  (Kayaks)
BCU 2 star + paddlers
Fri. Afternoons Beginners Canal Sessions (Kayaks)
PaddlePower We will be enrolling all our pupils on this scheme this term.
They receive a Fun, colour log book, which breaks the skills down into fun, achievable awards.

Youth Cadet Leader

 We will be encouraging paddlers 13+ yrs old & holding the 2 star or above to follow this award.
Level 1 Coach This year 2 of our pupils gained their L1K award.
Suitable pupils will be encouraged to follow this award.
