Ardèche
The Ardèche is often referred to as the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Europe, and is well known not only for its spectacular scenery, but also for its excellent and varied outdoor pursuits. The Ardèche itself meanders through steep canyon walls, 26km of which is cut off from the gorge road high above, making this historically a popular region for canoeing, climbing, cycling, and walking.

If you can’t view it online I’ll print you one, just ask!
If you have been on one of the school’s PGL weekends, it is very much along the same lines, but with the cultural element and the outstanding Ardèche gorge, which is a playground for families, nothing extreme.
