Magdalen Court School through 'Exeter Ethiopia Link' are twinned with Bethel Academy & Kindergarten in Ethiopia.
This is a new link in Dec. 2014 & something we hope to grow. At the moment pupils are exchanging letters & learning about each others school experience. We want to share our cultural experiences & learn about theirs in Nekemte.
In the future it is hoped we can send some of our staff to Bethel to learn even more about Ethiopia & their school, so we can bring this into our lessons at MCS & their Director Tesfaye Wodajo is keen to visit us in Devon to.

Bethel Academy & Kindergarten has 3 campus. The Kindergarten, Grades 1-4. Then the two main campus with Grades 5-12.
The school children in Ethiopia are called students, even the very youngest children.
Bethel has 900 students in 19 classes in the Kindergarten.
Some of the classes have up to 50 students in them.
