Forest Lodge Estate was built by a Scotsman in the Brecon Beacons in the 1820s and is 1000 feet above sea level. This is the main estate farmhouse and has kept all the character of an olde worlde farmhouse but with modern amenities. The farmhouse has been renovated and is ideal for large groups or families wishing to holiday together. There is a large grassed area in front of the house, ideal as a play area, the house is surrounded by large enclosed grounds with a little stream. It is in a wonderful position with spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons and the beauty of the surrounding area. It is only 1 mile from the National Park Visitors Centre. There are magnificent views of Fan Frynach and Rhos Dringarth Mountains from the farmhouse, and across the common to the National Park Mountain Centre.
