Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a lovely Christmas break. This is just a quick reminder for any parents of KS3 children who want to attend the school trip next Monday 13th January to the cathedral and St Nicholas Priory, a Tudor house in the centre of Exeter.
Key Stage 3 will be learning all about what life was like in the Tudor times during their Spring Term Humanities lessons and as part of our exciting and varied creative curriculum we would like to offer your child the opportunity to visit an authentic Tudor house, St Nicholas Priory in Exeter where our pupils will receive a tour of the Priory first, pointing out its original use as a Priory and then being displayed as a Tudor Merchant's house – as most of the building is set as a Tudor home. Pupils will also have the opportunity to look at Tudor costumes. We will then have lunch at the Priory, then head up to the Cathedral for a tour – which will also have a Tudor theme.
Mr Cotter is leading this history trip (all of KS3 welcome - the email was sent out at the end of last term). It will be all day, leaving the school at 9.30am and returning by 3pm. Payments of £6 can be made via EezeeTrip - the link for which was sent out on the 5th December for those that need to scroll back! Please sign the slip previously emailed if you would like your child to attend the trip and please can the £6 fee be paid to the school office by Friday 10th January 2020.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate in phoning the school and asking for Mr. James Cotter on 01392 494919.
Please ensure your child has suitable outdoor clothing (we will be walking there and back), a packed lunch, bottle of water and a snack.
Thank you!
