Our whole ethos is tailored to develop our children's confidence and as part of this we run an extensive outward bounds programme. Some of your class will be ahead of their peer group, whilst others have learning difficulties such as dyslexia. It is important that you have great communication skills as we work closely within our team and with parents. The school's friendly and relaxed atmosphere is maintained by our fantastic team of staff and we welcome teachers with a good sense of humour who are happy to contribute where they can to our wide range of extra-curricular events.
In return we offer a caring, school community, where staff are valued and substantial bursaries are given to members of staff for their children to attend and benefit from our small class sizes and attention to the individual.

In particular we are looking for someone who is caring and empathetic, with oodles of patience and a great sense of fun. Experience of working with children who have additional needs is essential, as is being a good team player. SEND training would be an advantage.
